Why can’t I get what I want today?
I think great brand identities and logos take time. I rely on insight, experience, and creative problem solving to provide my clients with brands that are unique, thoughtful, and streamlined. Experience has made me faster, and creativity helps me come up with ideas that work. But insight and inspiration need a little time to stew. Experience taught me that, too.
I will also note that I provide very conservative estimates for my turn times. sometimes inspiration strikes fast and I’ll beat my estimate by a mile. I would much rather under-promise and over-deliver than have it be the other way around.
What if I don’t like what you’ve done?
I work hard to ensure that every client is a happy client, and I’m always watching for signs that a client may be a bad fit. If it looks like you want something I don’t offer, I will contact you and refund your money. I will also do my best to point you to someone else who is better suited to meet your needs. Additionally, I offer one full revision cycle on all of my packages: which means I will go back to the drawing board for you once at no additional charge. If it’s not starting from scratch. I will tweak my work to suit your needs. I will be open and honest with you if additional revision charges will be needed. I hope that all issues will be resolved during the revision process.
I went through revisions and I still hate it. What now?
When I say revisions, I mean we can go back to the drawing board and start over. Again, I want all of my clients to walk away happy. I work diligently to identify a bad fit between me and a prospective client early in the process. Maybe you don’t like my style, and that’s okay! I guarantee my work. If we make it through the entire process and you’re still unsatisfied, I will give you a full refund.
What are some signs A client may be a bad fit?
Honestly, the biggest early indicator of a bad fit is timing.
My first FAQ is at the top for a reason. If you’re in a huge rush and want to have a logo and full brand identity today you’re in the wrong place. We all get impatient. Launching a new brand identity or logo is exciting! Time spent ensuring that you’ve landed on the best concept for your company’s brand is never time wasted. I strive to work efficiently and to spend my time wisely, which sometimes means waiting for bad ideas to run their course.
In my experience, thoughtful brand identities are rarely (if ever) the work of a single day. Good things take time. You can ask any purveyor of fine wine or any barbecue joint worth visiting. My goal is for every brand I develop will be like a fine wine or mouthwatering barbecue.
How will I receive my order?
Currently, I have only digital items on my website; therefore, you will receive either an email with your file or a link to download a file within the time frame listed on the product description page for each product. If you need a specific file type (e.g. your printer wants a CS6 Illustrator file), please include that information in the details form when you submit your order.
Do you offer payment plans?
I have worked to ensure that my packages are competitively priced. I do not offer payment plans for any of my packages.
